About Corey
Corey Wright is a local esthetician, wife, and mother, who is passionate about all things beautiful. As a small business owner, Corey is dedicated to helping each of her clients bring their inner glow to the surface. Her favorite services to preform are anything involving makeup, facials, and eyelash extensions.
From a large Rapid City family, Corey wasn’t entirely sure what the future held for her. It took her nearly 10 years before she found her passion in being an esthetician. Much of her story is told in the first few minutes of the episode.
“Sunny” was Corey’s nickname in school, so after she decided to follow her dream, she opened Sunny Skincare and Beauty. Follow her journey on:

Outside the Traditional Bridal Beauty Look
Back in August of 2021, Corey and I first met at the Inspired Design Floral Retreat in the Black Hills. Not only did we talk a bit about it in this episode (about 4 minutes in), but Justin and Sandra and I briefly touched on it in episode 26.
Honestly, it was such a thrilling experience for me to be a part of. Here is a little recap video from just the first and third day of the retreat. All of the makeup looks were done by Corey. It was so cool to see the creativity from all of the vendors involved. Hair and makeup was out of this world, and Sandra really brought on some amazing ideas for posing and showing off all of the talented florals that the florists put together.
