This beautiful Muley Hill Lodge rustic wedding in Deadwood, South Dakota was an honor to be a part of! The whole wedding day was beautiful and there were so many special and intimate moments that brought out the emotions. I loved that we were able to celebrate their love with a perfect mix of a catholic and rustic wedding. We started the day at Terra Sancta Retreat Center in Rapid City, South Dakota and ended it at one of my favorite venues, Muley Hill Lodge!! An Intimate Rustic Wedding at Muley Hill Lodge in Deadwood, South Dakota

Honestly, the best part of this wedding was the father daughter dance between the groom and their newborn. It was so special and I was definitely tearing up and filled with so much emotion! It was a moment that I was so happy to experience it. The whole day was beautiful but this moment really got me especially since I am a mother, too.

Another really cool addition was the band! They are called the Steele River Band and they came all the way up from Texas-it was awesome! The groom knew them from working at the Saloon No. 10 in Deadwood where the couple met. If you ask me, I feel like it was absolutely perfect to have them be a part of their special day!! It’s like their love came full circle in that moment.

Muley Hill Lodge was the perfect venue to for them because it included a wonderful indoor reception area, beautiful outdoor scenery and overall great backdrops to have be a part of their day. If you are thinking about wanting a rustic vibe, open indoor and outdoor venue for your intimate wedding day then definitely write this one down! I highly recommend!
