Just before a major South Dakota blizzard, these two tied the knot on a brisk December day at The Barn at Aspen Acres. Honestly, the weather couldn’t have been better for a winter wedding, and I am so honored to have witnessed the incredible love that Camryn and Zack shared with all of their friends and family. The Barn at Aspen Acres is right outside of one of my favorite places in the Hills, Spearfish. Spearfish holds so many memories for me, and I had so much fun traveling from Rapid back to my alma matter to capture these two. I actually met Camryn through a college classmate a few years before she and Zac were engaged! They took me up on an offer for free photos in the Canyon during a heavy flaky snowy afternoon. When we first met, it was already clear that Camryn and Zac were meant for one another.

On their wedding day at The Barn at Aspen Acres, they had several moments and details that stood out to me: the officiant was family; Camryn and Zac shared private vows in the bridal suite up stairs; during the first dance, the DJ had cold sparklers added to the background for a little something extra.
